Howdy & Angela Byars
Howdy! My name is Howdy Byars. I am originally from Zephyr, Texas. I graduated from Zephyr High School and later attended Howard Payne University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Exercise and Sports Science. Soon after, I moved to the Hill Country Area which has been my home for the past 7 years.
My family and I currently live in Liberty Hill. My wife Angela graduated from Leander High School and then attended Howard Payne University which is where I met her. She is a great wife and mother and does a wonderful job taking care of our son, Jett and our daughter, Steely.
Angela and I have been with the church since almost the beginning. I have assisted over the past few years with teaching bible studies and now, we have been Blessed to become the Associate Pastors of WCCC. We are so honored to be a part of the five-fold ministry as evangelists and teachers.
We also have a ministry that we occasionally do that is like no other that you have ever heard of. We go out to public places to hand out gospel tracts that have cash in them. Yes, the money is real. We get a variety of responses but it is such a blessing to bless others with money. The tracts educate people on our church, how to get saved and the purpose of the money. The ministry also promotes good rapport with the local communities and breaks down the barriers that religion and false assumptions have built between people and the church.
My family’s mission is to help Senior Pastors Corey and Jaime Ross fulfill their vision for Williamson County Cowboy Church. We are dedicated to supporting them in all that they venture to do. We are optimistic and look forward to what God has planned for Williamson County Cowboy Church.
